Congratulations Andrea!

FILAMO project (https://filamo.b.uib.no/) is funding Andrea Campos-Candela to carry out a stage at the University of Bergen. FILAMO supports PhD student exchange within the field of aquatic and marine science to foster cross-methodological research and learning.

Andrea Campos-Candela will meet Dr. Christian Jorgersen and his research group at the University of Bergen to work on model development. Andrea is already working on fish movement and has started developing a Dynamic Energy Budget model to link her empirical research questions with theory. This stay will let her to extend her model to understand how fishing and other anthropogenic stressors may affect the dynamics of wild fish populations.
